| Getting Here From Manila (by plane) Philippine Airlines, Air Philippines and Cebu Pacific fly two to three times daily to Puerto Princesa. To get to Cacnipa Island from Puerto Princesa City, ask the tricycle driver to bring you to the New Terminal in San Jose (Roxas, Port Barton Terminal). The jeepney leaves around 9:30 AM to Port Barton. There are also buses or public vans that leave for San Vicente from 7:00 AM and the last one leaves not later than 1:00 PM on the same station. It costs P. 250.- per person from Port Barton (boat trip lasts about 45 minutes) and P. 275.- per person from San Vicente (boat trip lasts about one hour.) From Cebu (by plane) Philippine Airlines flies daily and Cebu Pacific flies four (3) times weekly to Puerto Princesa. By ship from Manila over Coron Superferry (every Friday) and Negros Navigation (every Thursday) have trips from Manila to Puerto Princesa City via Coron. From Coron (by plane) SEAir flies from Coron three (3) times a week to El Nido and Puerto Princesa. In El Nido, contact the Tourist Office about the schedule of service boats to Cacnipa Island (El Nido-Port Barton-Sabang route) or Judith of El Nido Boutique and Art Shop for a special trip. |
